Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard is out for Sunday's game against the host Detroit Pistons because if his sore right shoulder.
Howard also missed Friday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He went back to Los Angeles to receive platelet-rich plasma treatments but returned to the team Sunday.
The injury also caused him to miss three games last month.
Howard said he is still sore. The Lakers hope he can play sometime this week.
