Irving shot 9-17 (4-4 from three-point range) in a quality offensive outing. Dion Waiters chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds for Cleveland as well. Despite the loss, Nick Calathes scored 17 points for Memphis on 7-9 shooting, including 2-3 from behind the arc. Zach Randolph added 14 points and 8 rebounds.
The Grizzlies posted an eFG% of just 40.1%, including 21.4% from 3-point range. This year, they are 4-7 when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Cavaliers are 7-1 when holding their opponents to such low percentages.
