Kyrie Irving scores 23, Cavaliers defeat Suns

In a complete effort, Kyrie Irving put up 23 points and recorded 9 rebounds and 6 assists to help the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Phoenix Suns, 110-101. The Cavaliers shot lights out, finishing 38-81 (46.9%) from the field, including 12-24 (50.0%) from beyond the arc. Cleveland (25-40) has won just three of its last 10 games.

Irving went 9-19 from the field, including 3-6 on 3-point attempts. Other top performers for Cleveland were Spencer Hawes with 19 points and 6 rebounds, Luol Deng with 18 points and 9 rebounds, and Tristan Thompson with 13 points and 7 rebounds. On 8-19 shooting, including 2-6 from behind the arc, Goran Dragic scored 20 points for Phoenix in the loss. Channing Frye added 17 points and 6 rebounds and Eric Bledsoe finished with 15 points and 9 assists.

Phoenix (36-28) has now lost three straight games.
