Kyle Lowry scored 33 points and recorded 11 assists to lead the Toronto Raptors to a victory over the Orlando Magic, 98-83. This is the second win in as many games for Toronto (24-21) after beating Brooklyn on Monday.
Lowry went 11-20 (6-11 from three-point range) and 5-7 from the free throw line, in a quality offensive outing. Toronto also got solid performances from Amir Johnson with 22 points and 11 rebounds, Jonas Valanciunas with 14 points and 15 rebounds, and Terrence Ross with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Despite the loss, Nikola Vucevic put up 16 points for Orlando on 6-12 shooting from the field and 4-4 from the free throw line. He also added 10 rebounds.
The Magic had an eFG% of just 36.9% while also posting an OR% of 19.6. They are 1-4 this season in games when they drop below 45% and 20% in those respective offensive factors. On the other hand, the Raptors are undefeated (2-0) when limiting their opponents to those numbers or worse.
Orlando (12-35) has now dropped their last three straight.
