The Toronto Raptors had an impressive game shooting the ball, finishing 34-65 (52.3%) from the field, including 9-17 (52.9%) from beyond the arc, to defeat the Orlando Magic, 105-90. Toronto (31-25) has now won back-to-back games after defeating Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.
Kyle Lowry had another big game, putting up 28 points on 7-13 shooting from the field (4-5 from behind the arc) and 10-11 from the free throw line. Toronto also got solid performances from Terrence Ross with 16 points and 5 rebounds, and Amir Johnson with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Tobias Harris had a strong game for Orlando despite the loss, scoring 28 points on 10-15 shooting from the field and 7-8 from the free throw line.
Along with their eFG% of 59.2%, the Raptors connected at a rate of 52.9% from 3-point range. On the season, they are 4-1 when they record marks above 55% and 40% in those respective categories. Conversely, the Magic are 2-9 when allowing their opponents to reach those percentages.
This drops Orlando (17-41) to 0-2 against Toronto on the year.
