Kyle Busch: 300 Cup Starts

Rotowire.com
Update: At just 27 years of age, it's difficult to believe Busch is considered by many to be a NASCAR veteran. But as the Sprint Cup competitors head to Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth this Saturday night for the NRA 500, the driver of the No. 18 Interstate Batteries Toyota is showing veteran-like numbers to prove it, especially since the Texas start will be his 300th in NASCAR's top series, Joe Gibbs Racing PR reports.

Recommendation: Busch made his first Cup start at the tender age of 19 at his hometown track of Las Vegas Motor Speedway during 2004. So it's not too surprising to realize that the JGR star has been racing for 10 seasons at NASCAR's top level. He's amassed 25 victories and 145 Top-10 finishes in his first 299 starts. Busch has a lot to celebrate at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend, and he could challenge for the win in the NRA 500 to mark the milestone.
