Update: Bryant was diagnosed with a complete Achilles' tendon rupture and is expected to be out six to nine months, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Recommendation: There is a chance that Bryant could be ready to play again at the beginning of next season. It all depends on how his surgery and rehab go. He averaged 27.3 points (9.5-20.4 FG, 1.7-5.2 3Pt), 6.0 assists and 5.6 rebounds per game during the 2012-13 season.
