New York Knicks guard Jason Kidd has become the first player to win back-to-back NBA sportsmanship awards.
Kidd, 40, garnered 91 first-place votes from league players and 2,474 total points Tuesday to earn the Joe Dumars Trophy in his first season with the Knicks. He earned the award last season playing for the Dallas Mavericks.
Los Angeles Clippers forward Grant Hill, who has been honored three times, is the only other player to win multiple times.
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who won 2011, finished second, and Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng placed third.
