The Oklahoma City Thunder have acquired shooting guard Ronnie Brewer from the New York Knicks, and dealt backup point guard Eric Maynor to the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Thunder sent a 2014 second-round pick to the Knicks, and secured the draft rights to Giorgos Printezis to complete the transactions.
Brewer began the year as a starter for the Knicks, but saw just eight minutes a game in January, and is averaging three a game this month. He's averaging 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds this season.
The emergence of Reggie Jackson at the backup point guard spot made Maynor expendable for OKC. He had shot just 31.3 percent from the field, and hadn't played double-digit minutes in a game since Dec. 17.
Printezis, 27, is currently playing for Olympiakos in the Greek League.
