Kim Kardashian Is Back With Luxe-Life Instagram Pics

And … the world makes sense again. After a roughly three-month self-imposed hiatus from social media, followed by a few family-focused Instagram pics, Kim Kardashian is back to her boss ways posting social snaps highlighting her luxe life. In a series of pics documenting her recent jaunt to Dubai, the mother of two celebrated her celebrity status by flying in a private jet, taking in a picturesque ocean view, and promoting (for money, no doubt) some random cosmetic franchise.

“Bad & Boujee,” Kim captioned a pic of herself with friend Stephanie Sheppard. Kim sips what looks like coffee — but really, who knows? — while Steph noshes a cookie. They both sport sunglasses inside the dark aircraft because when you’re super-famous, that’s what you do.

In another shot from the same flight, Kim posed solo. “Home Sweet Home @jetluxlife,” she wrote. In other words, the jet was probably free — or close to it.

During her getaway, the 36-year-old star struck a pose in a white minidress in front of a windowed wall with a stunning cityscape view. The view was hardly the point of the pic, however, as Kim explained, “Thank you @cosmesurge for saving my skin! #JetLagProblems #PsoriasisProblems.” In case you’re wondering, CosmeSurge is some sort of cosmetic surgery company with locations throughout Dubai.

Breaking from the promotional posts, Kim also shared a beautiful view of the ocean. Most likely no one paid her for that one, but it still showcased her rather luxurious lifestyle. (The beach isn’t a bad place to spend a few days in January.) Though a source close to Kim said she was “nervous” before the trip, she reportedly had “an awesome time” seeing her fans. Perhaps she felt better after a whopping 17 people were arrested in connection with her robbery in Paris last year.

Kim wasn’t alone in her celebration of excess, however. Scott Disick shared a few pics from a “low key” dinner in Dubai that involved an elaborately set, 16-seat dining room table piled high with treats. It sure looks like he and Kim (at least, she looks like Kim), were calling each other to talk from opposite ends of the table. It’s also probably worth noting that film crew folks are visible in the shot, which means this adventure will no doubt be part of the family’s reality show. (Something else noteworthy: Kim isn’t sporting even an ounce of bling in any of these shots.)

Kim polished off her Instagram blast with a pic of herself and her entourage seemingly headed home. “Thank you Dubai for the jet lag,” she quipped.

And thank you, Kim Kardashian, for kicking off 2017 with a dose of normalcy — and without that fake lip ring.
