KEY: Texans star running back Arian Foster usually basks in the spotlight but backup Justin Forsett made the biggest play of the game, though it shouldn't have counted. Forsett scored on an 81-yard run in the third quarter, pulling the Texans within three points. He should have been ruled down by contact in Texans territory but the automatic replay review was nullified when Lions coach Jim Schwartz threw a challenge flag prior to the review. That not only cost Detroit six points, it resulted in a 15-yard penalty during the ensuing kickoff.

TEXANS SAID: "Obviously, that's a big break in the game for us. But you make your breaks when you work your tail off. We got a couple throughout the day." -- Coach Gary Kubiak on Forsett's controversial touchdown.

LIONS SAID: "He was obviously down. That's the thing that was most disappointing. He was down on the field and nobody blew the whistle and the guy got up and kept on running. That's still no excuse. You don't challenge turnovers and you don't challenge scoring plays."
