Kevin Love finished with 33 points and added 13 rebounds to help the Minnesota Timberwolves take down the Phoenix Suns, 110-101. Minnesota (28-29) gets one in the win column after losing to Portland on Sunday.
Love shot 10-22 (3-6 from three-point range) and 10-14 from the free throw line. Shabazz Muhammad also chipped in for Minnesota, finishing with 20 points and 6 rebounds. On 9-20 shooting from the field and 6-8 from the free throw line, Markieff Morris put up 24 points off the bench for Phoenix in the loss.
This drops Phoenix (33-23) to 1-1 versus Minnesota on the season.
