Stephanie McMahon Q&A:

Kevin Love, Kevin Martin carry Timberwolves past Pistons

Kevin Love finished with 28 points and notched 14 rebounds, his 51st double-double of the season, to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a victory over the Detroit Pistons, 114-101. The Timberwolves picked up the victory due in large part to their efficiency handling the basketball, accumulating 25 assists and turning it over only 10 times. Minnesota (31-30) has now won seven of their last 10 games.

Love went 10-18 (3-7 from three-point range) in a good performance. Other top contributors for Minnesota included Nikola Pekovic with 17 points and 9 rebounds, and Ricky Rubio with 11 points and 9 assists. Despite the loss, Greg Monroe put up 20 points for Detroit on 8-17 shooting from the field and 4-4 from the free throw line. He also tallied 15 rebounds. Josh Smith chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds and Jonas Jerebko finished with 10 points and 7 rebounds.

This drops Detroit (24-38) to 0-2 against Minnesota on the year.

Coming up next, the Timberwolves square off against the Toronto Raptors, who are 34-26 on the year. The Pistons meet the Boston Celtics, currently 21-41 this season. The Timberwolves have a 0-1 record against Toronto this season. The Pistons have come away with a win the last two games against Boston.
