Durant went 11-21 (2-7 from three-point range) and 7-10 from the free throw line. Serge Ibaka chipped in 21 points and 12 rebounds for Oklahoma City as well. Despite the loss, Marc Gasol put up 13 points for Memphis on 5-11 shooting from the field and 3-4 from the free throw line.
In addition to 12.5% from 3-point range, the Grizzlies tallied an eFG% of just 40.7%. They are 4-6 on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Thunder, conversely, are 8-2 when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.
This defeat means an end to a six-game winning streak for Memphis, pushing their record to 26-21 for the year.
Coming up, the Thunder square off with the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are 23-24 on the season. The Grizzlies match up with the Dallas Mavericks, currently sitting at 27-21 this year.
