Recommendation: By dumping Ronnie Brewer on Oklahoma City for a 2014 second-round pick, the Knicks opened up a roster spot, inking Martin to a deal to bolster their aging frontcourt. Martin has not played this season, as he worked himself into playing shape. He will now have the opportunity for two 10-day deals to earn a contract for the remainder of the season.
