Wilson Chandler posted his second double-double this season, scoring 21 points and registering 10 rebounds, to help the Denver Nuggets beat the Orlando Magic, 120-112. The Nuggets took quality shots, finishing 47-92 (51.1%) from the field, including 10-22 (45.5%) from beyond the arc. Denver (28-36) has won just three of its last 10 games.
Chandler shot 8-17 from the field, including 3-7 on 3-point attempts. Denver also got solid performances from Kenneth Faried with 26 points and 9 rebounds, J.J. Hickson with 20 points and 9 rebounds, and Ty Lawson with 17 points and 12 assists. Despite the loss, Arron Afflalo put up 24 points for Orlando on 10-18 shooting, including 2-5 from behind the arc. Jameer Nelson contributed 19 points and 9 assists and Kyle O'Quinn finished with 10 points and 8 rebounds.
The Nuggets combined an eFG% of 56.5% with 45.5% 3-point shooting. They are 11-2 this year when registering marks above 55% and 40% in those respective statistics. The Magic, on the other hand, are 2-12 when allowing opponents to hit those marks.
Orlando (19-47) has now dropped their last four in a row.
