The Chiefs got by the Bills, 23-13, in Orchard Park.
Alex Smith didn't find the end zone and had only 124 yards on 19 of 29 passing and no interceptions. Jeff Tuel went 18 of 39 with 229 yards passing, one touchdown and two picks for the Bills.
Jamaal Charles ran all over the Bills for 90 yards on 17 attempts. Dwayne Bowe caught seven balls for 67 yards.
The Kansas City defense was the difference in the victory, bringing back one interception and one fumble for touchdowns.
Lastly, Ryan Succop was perfect, hitting all three of the field goals he attempted.
Bills running back C.J. Spiller gave a standout effort with 116 yards rushing and 39 receiving. Running back Fred Jackson also gave a strong effort with 77 rushing yards and 22 receiving.
The Chiefs head to Denver next week to face off with the Broncos (7-1) while the Bills travel to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers (2-5).
