Update: Hamilton agreed to a five-year contract with the Angels on Thursday, MLB.com reports.
Recommendation: Hamilton will head to Los Angeles after spending the last five years with the Rangers. He will man one of the corner outfield spots and see action as the DH, but it remains to be seen exactly who he will supplant. Hamilton posted a .930 OPS overall last season, so though he will likely see a minor reduction in his power stats moving on from Texas, he will further solidify the top of the Angels' lineup.
