José Manuel de la Torre names 21-man roster for Mexico friendly against Denmark

Cirilo Saucedo received his long-awaited call up to the Mexican national team when coach José Manuel de la Torre announced his 21-man squad for the upcoming friendly against Denmark in Phoenix on Jan. 30.

After leading Tijuana to a championship last season, Saucedo will be joined by club teammate Fernando Arce, who returns to Tri after a long absence from the national side. Club America is represented with five players, while Monterrey has four players on the team.

The match will be El Tri's final tune-up before World Cup qualifying begins on Feb. 6, with Mexico playing host to Jamaica at the Azteca Stadium.
