Hill shot 7-13 from the field and 4-6 from the free throw line. Other top contributors for Los Angeles included Nick Young with 16 points and six rebounds, Kendall Marshall with 15 points and 11 assists, and Ryan Kelly with 12 points and eight rebounds. On 6-10 shooting, including 2-5 from behind the arc, Kawhi Leonard put up 14 points for San Antonio in the loss.
The Lakers combined an eFG% of 55.5% with 40.7% 3-point shooting. They are 9-6 this year when registering marks above 55% and 40% in those respective statistics. The Spurs, on the other hand, are winless (0-8) when allowing opponents to hit those marks.
This puts an end to a zero-game winning streak for San Antonio (62-20) against Los Angeles.
