Jordan Hamilton finished with 17 and the Denver Nuggets beat the Chicago Bulls, 97-87. Denver (5-6) picked up the win after falling to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday.
Hamilton shot 6-12 from the field (3-6 on 3-point attempts) in a solid outing. Other top contributors for Denver included J.J. Hickson with 14 points and 9 rebounds, Kenneth Faried with 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Ty Lawson with 10 points and 7 assists. On 9-20 shooting, Derrick Rose scored 19 points for Chicago in the loss. Mike Dunleavy chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds and Joakim Noah finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
The Bulls paired an eFG% of 40.3% alongside a substandard FTA rate of 14.3. They are 0-1 when they drop below 45% and 20.0 in those respective offensive factors this season. The Nuggets, on the other hand, are 1-0 when holding their opponents under those marks.
This loss snaps a 5-game winning streak for Chicago, dropping them to 6-4 on the year.
