LeBron James has never participated in the NBA's dunk contest during All-Star weekend in his 10-year career, but that could change in the future. James told ESPN-TV on Sunday that he's considering a $1 million offer from Magic Johnson to enter the competition. "I don't have a response yet," James said in an interview with ESPN before the Miami Heat-New York Knicks game in Madison Square Garden. James' epic dunks in practice and pregame warm-ups have promoted calls for him to be part of the NBA's dunk competition. "I think about it every year," James said. Johnson said Friday that he would pay James or anyone who can beat him in the dunk contest a $1 million prize. "Tell him I'll get back to him," James said. Although Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers won the contest tin 2011, most of the elite NBA players have avoided competing for the $100,000 first prize in recent years.
