Paul Pierce had a quality performance off the bench for Brooklyn in the loss, putting up 27 points on 10-12 shooting (3-5 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 4-6 from the free throw line. Brook Lopez contributed 22 points and 5 rebounds, Joe Johnson finished with 20 points and 7 rebounds, and Deron Williams put up 15 points and 13 assists.
This drops Brooklyn (9-16) to 0-2 against Washington on the year.
