John Henson put up 25 points and registered 14 rebounds and 6 blocks in a spectacular all-around effort to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a close victory over the Chicago Bulls, 78-74. Milwaukee (5-16) has won just three of their last 10 games.
Henson finished 11-17, in a quality offensive outing. He also registered 3 steals. Brandon Knight chipped in 19 points and 10 rebounds for Milwaukee as well. On 9-15 shooting (2-4 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 4-6 from the free throw line, Mike Dunleavy put up 24 points for Chicago in the loss. Carlos Boozer contributed 21 points and 12 rebounds, Tony Snell finished with 13 points and 6 rebounds, and Taj Gibson put up 10 points and 9 rebounds.
The Bulls posted an eFG% of just 39.2%, including 20.0% from 3-point range. This year, they are 2-3 when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Bucks are 3-1 when holding their opponents to such low percentages.
Chicago (8-11) has now dropped consecutive games after losing to Detroit on Saturday.
