Abraham was on fire Tuesday when tight end Adam Nissley, a rookie, went too low on a block in the estimation of the veteran defensive end. Low or not, there isn’t supposed to be any contact blocking during minicamp.Abraham snapped, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, ripping Nissley’s helmet off.
“What the (bleep) is wrong with you,” Abraham said, per Ledbetter.
Afterward, Falcons coach Mike Smith praised Abraham, 34, for showing up in good shape. Abraham had 9 ½ sacks last season and the defense needs him to remain a top pass-rushing threat.
