HELSINKI (AP) -- Therese Johaug took the women's World Cup cross-country title by winning Sunday's 10-kilometer pursuit in a triple victory for Norway, while fellow Norwegian Martin Johnsrud Sundby won the men's 15-kilometer pursuit in the final race of the season.

Johaug finished in 24 minutes, 25.5 seconds to beat Marit Bjoergen by 29.2 seconds. Heidi Weng was third, 1 minute 52.4 seconds behind.

Johaug came first in the overall standings with 1,545 points, 47 points ahead of Bjoergen. Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen, another Norwegian, came third with 974.

Sundby won the men's event, becoming the first skier to win all three competitions in one season, with a winning time of 34 minutes, 48.1 seconds. Canada's Alex Harvey was 4.9 seconds behind, followed by Alexander Legkov of Russia in third place 11.0 seconds behind.

Sundby is at the top of overall standings with 1,534 points, followed by Legkov in second place with 980 points. Harvey has 766 points in third spot.

Sundby described the season as ''incredible.''

''I worked really hard for this,'' Sundby said. ''It was really a good battle with Legkov and Harvey today.''

The Falun competitions were plagued by strong winds which forced the cancelation of the Nordic combined and the women's skijump.
