Recommendation: There was some question as to whether Hanrahan, acquired by the Red Sox on Wednesday, or the incumbent Andrew Bailey would get the ninth-inning job next season, but the Red Sox wasted little time removing any doubt. Hanrahan was one of the top closers in the NL over the last two seasons, putting up a 2.24 ERA, 76 saves, and a 128:52 K:BB ratio over 128.1 innings. He will have to prove he can handle the pressure of closing in Beantown, but assuming he can, he will keep his spot among the top closers in fantasy baseball.
