Joakim Noah records triple-double, Bulls defeat Pistons

Joakim Noah put up a triple-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the Chicago Bulls to a victory over the Detroit Pistons, 105-94. The Bulls were on fire from the field in this one, going 43-80 (53.8%). Chicago (34-27) has now won eight of their last 10 games.

Noah shot 5-7, in a strong performance. Chicago also got solid performances from D.J. Augustin with 26 points and 6 assists, and Jimmy Butler with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Greg Monroe had a big game for Detroit in the loss, putting up 27 points on 12-20 shooting from the field and 3-4 from the free throw line. He also recorded 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Kyle Singler chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds, Josh Smith finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds, and Andre Drummond put up 15 points and 7 rebounds.

This drops Detroit (24-37) to 1-2 against Chicago on the year.

Coming up next, the Bulls square off against the Memphis Grizzlies, who are 34-26 on the year. The Pistons match up with the Minnesota Timberwolves, currently 30-30 this season. The Bulls have a 1-0 record against Memphis this season. The Pistons have a 0-1 record against Minnesota this season.
