Joakim Noah put up 17 points and recorded 11 rebounds and 9 assists in a complete effort to lead the Chicago Bulls to a victory over the Boston Celtics, 94-82. Chicago (13-18) gets one in the win column after losing to Toronto on Tuesday.
Noah went 6-13 from the field and 5-6 from the free throw line. Other key performers for Chicago were Carlos Boozer with 16 points and 7 rebounds, and Jimmy Butler with 10 points and 6 rebounds. On 7-11 shooting from the field and 8-10 from the free throw line, Jordan Crawford scored 22 points for Boston in the loss. He also registered 7 assists. Jared Sullinger chipped in 11 points and 11 rebounds.
The Celtics posted an eFG% of just 40.7%, including 16.7% from 3-point range. This year, they are 1-5 when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Bulls are 6-3 when holding their opponents to such low percentages.
Boston (13-19) has now lost back-to-back games after falling to Atlanta on Tuesday.
