Jimmy Butler's 31 leads Bulls over Grizzlies

Jimmy Butler put up 31 points and added 10 rebounds, while Nikola Mirotic came off the bench and added 27 points and eight rebounds to lead the Chicago Bulls to a close victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, 103-97. The Bulls shot 32-73 (43.8%) from the field and turned it over on only nine possessions. Chicago (17-9) has now won seven of their last 10 games.

Butler went 11-21 from the field and 9-9 from the free throw line. Joakim Noah also contributed for Chicago, finishing with 10 points and 13 rebounds. On 7-18 shooting (1-5 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 6-7 from the free throw line, Mike Conley scored 21 points for Memphis in the loss.

In addition to 15.4% from 3-point range, the Grizzlies tallied an eFG% of just 40.4%. They are 3-2 on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Bulls, conversely, are 8-1 when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.

Coming up next, the Bulls take on the Toronto Raptors, who are 21-6 on the year. The Grizzlies go up against the Cleveland Cavaliers, currently 15-10 this season. The Bulls are 1-0 versus Toronto this season.
