Given a chance to shoot down a report that Calvin Johnson finished his record-setting season with three broken fingers, Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz took a pass.
“I am not going to comment on any of our players' health," Schwartz said, according to Chris McCosky of the Detroit News. "But that's not uncommon for a wide receiver."
The report indicates Johnson played with “at least two broken fingers” for the majority of the season and he’s been seen recently with a wrapped hand.
"We don't have any injury reports this time of year," Schwartz said. "And you know how I am about injuries."
Johnson did back out of participating in the Pro Bowl.
