Jim Henderson: Picks Up Save Monday
Update: Henderson recorded his first save of the season in Monday's win over the Cubs.

Recommendation: The Brewers opened the ninth inning with a 7-2 lead, but Brandon Kintzler allowed a run on three hits without recording an out before leaving Henderson a four-run lead with the tying run in the on-deck circle and no outs. After giving up an RBI single to Luis Valbuena, Henderson was victimized by an error at first base from backup catcher Martin Maldonado on a potential double play ball. Henderson managed to strikeout a pair around the error, while getting Starlin Castro to fly out to end the game with the bases loaded and a three-run lead. Ultimately, it wasn't a pretty save for Henderson, but he inherited a mess and was victimized by the error at first base, so he should remain the ninth-inning option of choice for manager Ron Roenicke after John Axford was removed from the closer's role prior to Monday's game.
