Jets sign OL Dozier, LB Reilly

The SportsXchange

The New York Jets signed offensive lineman Dakota Dozier, a fourth-round selection from Furman, and seventh-round pick Trevor Reilly, an outside linebacker from Utah, the team announced Wednesday.

Like all rookies drafted after the first round, Dozier and Reilly signed four-year deals.

The Jets are listing the 6-foot-4, 313-pound Dozier at guard. The Jets' third of three fourth-round selections received most of his playing time at the left tackle position over his four seasons at Furman.

Reilly had 100 tackles in 12 starts last season for Utah. Among those tackles were 8.5 sacks and 16.0 tackles for loss, while playing on a torn ACL.

In his career with 32 starts, he totaled 20 sacks and 37 tackles for loss, forcing eight fumbles, and coming up with eight turnovers (six fumbles, two interceptions).

Reilly comes to the Jets as a 26-year-old after spending two years on an LDS mission in Sweden.
