Jets sign KR Reynaud, place Cribbs on IR
The New York Jets signed kick returner Darius Reynaud on Tuesday to replace kick returner Josh Cribbs, who was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
Reynaud is a return specialist who was released by the Tennessee Titans earlier in the season, after making multiple mistakes fielding punts.
Cribbs injured his right shoulder Sunday while making a tackle on Miami Dolphins running back Marcus Thigpen, who was returning a punt during the second quarter of the Jets' 23-3 loss. Cribbs tripped Thigpen with his arm, and shortly after exited the field to the locker room. Cribbs, 30, left MetLife Stadium with his right arm in a sling.
