Jets Overcome by Vikings, 30-24, in Overtime

Percy Harvin had a big day for the offense, but it was not enough to avoid a late loss for the Jets against the Vikings, 30-24, in.

Geno Smith went 18 for 29 for 254 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick. Teddy Bridgewater ended up going 19 of 27 with 309 yards passing, two touchdowns and one pick for the Vikings.

Chris Ivory rushed for 73 yards on 16 carries with one fumble. Harvin was a highlight, catching six balls for 124 yards with a touchdown.

The New York defense stood its ground in the loss, giving up 114 yards rushing and 309 passing. They sacked Bridgewater three times.

Finally, Nick Folk was perfect, making all five of his field goal attempts.

Vikings wide receiver Jarius Wright had a big game, putting up 123 receiving yards, 23 rushing and one touchdown. Wide receiver Charles Johnson also performed well with 103 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Next week, the Jets head to Nashville to face the Titans (2-11) while the Vikings go to Detroit to play the Lions (9-4).
