Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien, who has missed five games with a lower body injury, is ready to return to action, the Winnipeg Free Press reported.
The Jets don't play again until Tuesday against the Flyers, and Byfuglien expects to play in that game.
"I just had a little maintenance to do on the lower body, just taking care of it," he told the Free Press. "We didn't want it to drag it on and make it happen for the long haul so we took care of it right away."
Byfuglien has three goals and four assists in six games this season.
