The SportsXchange

Winnipeg Jets forward Matt Halischuk is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on Sunday for a broken forearm, the team announced.

Halischuk suffered the injury against the Dallas Stars on Saturday night.

Halischuk has three goals and four assists in 30 games for the Jets this season.

It was the second lineup hit for the Jets on Sunday. Winnipeg forward Anthony Peluso was suspended three games for boarding Dallas Stars defenseman Alex Goligoski.
