Other top performers for Boston were Jeff Green with 17 points and 8 rebounds, Brandon Bass with 14 points and 8 rebounds, and Gerald Wallace with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Jeff Teague had another quality performance for Atlanta despite the loss, putting up 26 points on 10-18 shooting from the field and 6-7 from the free throw line. Elton Brand contributed 10 points and 7 rebounds.
This drops Atlanta (26-31) to 1-2 against Boston on the year.
