Recommendation: Weaver was out there for just one inning Wednesday, and gave up two runs on two hits and two walks. It seems Weaver's removal was due to the right-hander being worn out, and not an attempt by Mike Scioscia to preserve Weaver's Cy Young-caliber numbers.
