Update: Gordon and Clint Bowyer haven't spoken since Gordon intentionally wrecked Bowyer at Phoenix on Nov. 11, an incident that triggered a garage-area melee between the drivers' crews and earned Gordon a $100,000 fine from NASCAR, the Associated Press reports.
Recommendation: The two have been around each other all week at Las Vegas for championship week festivities, and according to Gordon, it has been "awkward" due to their lack of communication. We don't see an end to this feud any time soon and it should provide for some anxiety and suspense heading into next season's Daytona 500. Gordon will likely be looking over his shoulder for some time to come.
