Harden finished 7-17 from the field (3-7 on 3-pointers) and 10-11 from the free throw line. Other key performers for Houston were Dwight Howard with 20 points and 22 rebounds, and Terrence Jones with 16 points and 13 rebounds. On 8-18 shooting from the field and 2-4 from the free throw line, Glen Davis put up 18 points for Orlando in the loss. Arron Afflalo contributed 16 points and 9 rebounds and E'Twaun Moore finished with 12 points and 5 rebounds.
The Magic posted an eFG% of just 38.7%, including 27.6% from 3-point range. This year, they are winless (0-3) when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Rockets are undefeated (4-0) when holding their opponents to such low percentages.
Orlando (6-14) has now dropped their last five consecutive games.
