The Clippers had no trouble knocking down shots in this one, going 40-72 (55.6%) from the field and 23-37 (62.2%) at the free throw line. This is the eighth win for Los Angeles (29-14) in its last 10 games.
Jordan shot 8-11 from the field, in a quality performance offensively. Other key players for Los Angeles included Blake Griffin with 25 points and 5 rebounds, and J.J. Redick with 20 points and 6 assists. Rodney Stuckey had a strong performance off the bench for Detroit in the loss, putting up 29 points on 11-20 shooting from the field and 6-7 from the free throw line. Andre Drummond chipped in 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The Clippers combined an eFG% of 61.8% with 42.9% 3-point shooting. They are undefeated (8-0) this year when registering marks above 55% and 40% in those respective statistics. The Pistons, on the other hand, are winless (0-6) when allowing opponents to hit those marks.
Detroit (17-24) could not get back-to-back victories after defeating Washington on Saturday.
