Update: Jurrjens signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Orioles, The Baltimore Sun reports.
Recommendation: The deal for Jurrjens can increase to $4 million with incentives. It is also noted that he does have options remaining in his eligibility which could give the Orioles the flexibility to keep him for two years at this price. He struggled to a 6.89 ERA in 2012 a year after going 13-6 with a 2.96 ERA and being selected as an All-Star with the Braves. It is a low-risk deal for the Orioles that could net them a solid competitor for the starting rotation.
