Jaguars Suffer 23-17 Defeat Against Texans
The Jaguars were beaten by the Texans, 23-17, at NRG Stadium.
Blake Bortles couldn't find his rhythm, going 14 for 33 for only 117 yards without a touchdown and no interceptions. Case Keenum ended up going 25 of 35 with 250 yards passing, two touchdowns, one pick and one fumble for the Texans.
Jordan Todman was a key factor for the Jaguars, rushing for 52 yards on seven carries and had five receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown. Cecil Shorts III snagged five passes for 47 yards.
The Jacksonville defense played well in the loss, giving up 123 yards rushing and 250 passing while taking back one interception for a touchdown. They sacked Keenum three times.
Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was impressive, racking up 134 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Alfred Blue also had a good game with 39 rushing yards, 37 receiving and one touchdown.
