Jaguars Sneak By Giants, 25-24
The Jaguars eluded the Giants, 25-24, at home.
Blake Bortles completed the game 21 for 35 with 194 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions. Eli Manning went 24 of 34 with 247 yards passing, one touchdown and two fumbles for the Giants.
Denard Robinson ran for 44 yards on 11 carries in addition to three receptions for 10 yards. Marqise Lee was a leading receiver, catching six balls for 75 yards with a touchdown.
The Jacksonville defensive unit led the way to a victory, taking two fumbles for touchdowns. They harassed Manning and the Giants offensive line with an imposing four sacks.
Giants running back Rashad Jennings had a productive game with 91 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. also gave a strong effort with 90 receiving yards.
Next week, the Jaguars are at home against the Texans (6-6) while the Giants travel to Nashville to face the Titans (2-10).
