The Jaguars announced Wednesday that they have signed TE Maurice Stovall and released TE Stephen Spach.

Stovall, a 6-5, 220-pound seventh-year veteran, has played in 71 games with 11 starts after being selected in the third round of the 2006 draft by the Buccaneers. His career totals as a wide receiver include 52 receptions for 668 yards and three TDs. He spent five seasons (2006-10) with the Bucs before joining playing in 15 games with the Lions in 2011.
