The Jaguars signed second-year PK Brandon Coutu and waived rookie free-agent CB Dontrell Johnson.
Coutu, a seventh-round pick in 2008 by the Seahawks, spent time with Seattle, the Jaguars and Bills in 2011. He was signed to the Bills' 53-man roster on Dec. 28 and saw action in the season finale.
Coutu converted 51-of-64 field-goal attempts in 43 games at Georgia.
The Jags' starting PK, Josh Scobee, has yet to sign his franchise tender or come to terms on a long-term deal.
