The Jaguars signed veteran S Chris Harris and waived CB Kevin Rutland.
Harris has played in 96 games with 88 starts for the Bears, Panthers and Lions in his career. In 2011, he played in 11 games, seven for the Bears and four for the Lions, with eight total starts. Harris has 16 career interceptions.
Rutland played in three games this season and made three tackles.
Harris adds depth at safety, as the Jaguars will be without Dwight Lowery for at least Sunday’s game.
