The Jaguars announced Friday that they have signed second-year CB Kevin Rutland to the 53-man roster. Rutland spent the first five weeks of the season with the Jaguars, playing in three games, before he was waived on Oct. 15.
In the three games in which he saw action, Rutland had three tackles on defense and one tackle on special teams.
He appeared in 14 games with the Jaguars as a rookie in 2011 after joining the team as an undrafted rookie free agent. He totaled 18 tackles and one interception and added five special-teams tackles last season.
