Jaguars sign CB Marcus Trufant

Cornerback Marcus Trufant signed a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday.

Trufant, the 11th overall pick in the 2003 draft, had spent his entire NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks, including the past three for Jaguars coach Gus Bradley. Bradley was hired as Jaguars head coach in January.

Trufant, 32, has battled injuries in recent seasons. He played in four games in 2011 and started two games in 12 appearances last season.

The Jaguars list Alan Ball and rookie Dwayne Gratz as starters at cornerback. Ball, 28, started one game for the Houston Texans last season. He started 18 games the previous two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
